The Olsen twins will be featuring their trendy and edgy line, Elizabeth and James, this Fashion Week with a pop-up-store debuting during Fashion's Night Out (FNO).  I'm looking forward to seeing the fall collection in person and perhaps any surprises they have conspired, which are hear are really good but I will not give them away!

CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund finalist, Gregory Parkinson, will be presenting at this upcoming Fashion Week.  His current Fall 2010 collection, shown here, is so rich and beautifully constructed, one can almost feel the texture throught the images.  I'm trully looking forward to his upcoming Spring/Summer presentation - stay tunned!

Is it just me, or is the 4th of July the most underrated opportunity to dress-up?

With Halloween a little less than 4 months away, it’s only fitting that we get our creative clothing juices flowing and gear up for the nation’s favorite day of the year: it’s own birthday!

In honor of our country’s 234th big one [it's OK, USA, you're not 240 YET!], I gave myself a challenge: to search & seize a variety of ready-to-wear and easy DIY options for this Sunday’s holiday.

What did I find? Some truly awesome stuff — all for under $50! That’s right — at my local Goodwill on 121st & 3rd Avenue [yes, I just gave away the address ... go forth!], I discovered 8 truly awesome pieces that could be mixed/matched or cut/shredded/tied to 4th of July style bliss.

i appreciated the simple color choices on the red carpet at the vhi Hip Hop Honors event that aired this past Monday. From monochrome to maintaining the jean and t shirt staple, it was an appropriate display of hip hop fashion.
